1. Introduction
1.1 Welcome to SyncSkills (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your enrolment in and use of our programs, workshops, coaching, and professional development services (collectively, the “Services”).
1.2 By purchasing, enrolling, or participating in our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Payment Plan Policy, and any supplemental agreements such as Refund Policy provided in writing.
1.3 We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these Terms excludes your statutory rights under the ACL.
2. Services Provided
2.1 SyncSkills provides education, coaching, and professional development Services as described on our website and promotional materials.
2.2 We reserve the right to modify, improve, or discontinue any Service, provided such changes do not materially disadvantage you after you have enrolled.
3. Registration and Accounts
3.1 Certain Services require account registration. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep login credentials secure.
- Notify us of unauthorised use of your account.
3.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Fees and Payments
4.1 Fees: All fees are listed in AUD and are payable as outlined at enrolment.
4.2 Non-Refundability: Fees are non-refundable except where expressly permitted in our Payment Plan Policy or required by law.
4.3 Payment Methods: By providing card or bank details, you authorise SyncSkills and its thirdparty processors (e.g., Stripe) to debit payments in accordance with your chosen plan.
4.4 Payment Obligations: Enrolment constitutes a financial commitment to the full program fee. Payment plans do not reduce or cancel your total obligation.
4.5 Dishonour/Failed Payment Fee: If a payment fails (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card, incorrect details), we may:
- Re-attempt collection;
- Charge a Failed Payment (Dishonour) Fee of AUD $12 per occurrence
- Suspend access to Services until arrears are cleared.
4.6 Late or Missed Payments:
- Interest may accrue at 1.5% per month (or the maximum permitted by law).
- We may accelerate your full outstanding balance if two or more installments are missed.
- Unpaid balances may be referred to collections. You agree to cover all associated costs, including agency fees and legal costs.
4.7 Charge backs: Initiating a charge back without lawful grounds constitutes a breach of these Terms. You remain liable for dishonor fees and recovery costs.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 All materials, content, and methodologies are owned by or licensed to SyncSkills.
5.2 You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.
5.3 You must not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise our materials without written consent.
6. Student Responsibilities
6.1 You are responsible for your own learning outcomes. While we provide tools, training, and support, employment, promotions, or specific career outcomes are not guaranteed.
6.2 Active participation (attending sessions, completing work) is required. Lack of participation is not grounds for refunds.
7. Privacy & Data
7.1 We collect and handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy(available on our website).
7.2 By using our Services, you consent to our processing of your personal data as permitted by law.
8. Liability and Risk
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncSkills is not liable for:
● Indirect or consequential loss (including lost income, opportunities, or data).
● Service interruptions outside our control.
● Outcomes dependent on your personal application of training.
8.2 Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the relevant Service.
9. Warranties
9.1 Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
9.2 We make no warranty of guaranteed results. Testimonials and case studies are examples only.
10. Indemnity
10.1 You agree to indemnify SyncSkills, its officers, employees, and contractors against claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of Services, or unlawful conduct.
11. Force Majeure
11.1 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, illness, internet outages, government restrictions). Services will be rescheduled where possible.
12. Amendments
12.1 We may update these Terms to reflect business, legal, or regulatory changes.
12.2 Material changes will be communicated to you by email or website notice. Continued use of Services constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
13.2 Prior to legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution.
13.3 Unresolved disputes will be referred to binding arbitration in Queensland under the Resolution Institute rules.
14. Entire Agreement & Severability
14.1 These Terms and the Payment Plan Policy form the entire agreement between you and SyncSkills.
14.2 If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.

SyncSkills Refund Policy
1. Scope
1.1 This Refund Policy applies to all courses, workshops, bootcamps, and training programs (“Programs”) offered by SyncSkills.
1.2 By enrolling in a Program, you agree to this Policy, the Payment Plan Policy, and our Terms & Conditions.
2. General Refund Principles
2.1 Fees are generally non-refundable except as expressly set out in this Policy.
2.2 Refund eligibility is determined solely by SyncSkills and may be subject to deductions for processing or administrative costs.
2.3 Students remain liable for any dishonour fees, outstanding instalments, or collection costs even if a refund is processed.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 Self-Paced Courses:
- Refunds may be requested within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided:
- Minimal or no course content has been accessed or downloaded; and
- A written request is submitted to operations@syncskills.com.au within the time frame.
3.2 Live Training, Workshops, and Bootcamps:
- Fees are non-refundable once a program has commenced.
- If you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled start date, you may request a onetime transfer to a future session (subject to availability).
3.3 Special Programs (Cohorts, Career Acceleration Bootcamps, Coaching):
- Fees are non-refundable once enrolment is confirmed and 1 or more sessions are attended and or 1 or more courses have been sent to a student via email or our learning management system
- Students on a payment plan remain liable for the full Program fee regardless of withdrawal, except in cases where SyncSkills cancels the Program.
3.4 Cancellations by SyncSkills:
- If SyncSkills cancels a Program for reasons outside of your control, you will be offered either:
- A full refund of amounts paid or
- Transfer to a future Program at no additional cost.
4. Exclusions
- Refunds will not be granted where:
- Full name and contact details;
- Program enrolled in; and
- Reason for the refund request.
- You fail to attend a scheduled session, workshop, or class;
- You withdraw after accessing significant course content;
- You change your mind or experience a change in personal circumstances;
- You are dissatisfied with outcomes that depend on your own effort (e.g., job placement, promotions).
5. Refund Process
5.1 Requests must be submitted by email to operations@syncskills.com.au
5.2 SyncSkills will review and respond within 5 business days.
5.3 Approved refunds will be processed within 72 hours to the original payment method.
5.4 Refund amounts may be reduced by:
- Payment processing charges;
- Administrative fees; or
- Any dishonour/late fees already incurred
6. No Chargebacks
6.1 You agree not to initiate a chargeback or reversal with your bank or card provider for payments made under this Policy.
6.2 If a chargeback is raised in breach of this clause, you remain liable for:
- The original Program fee;
- Dishonour fees and costs; and
- Any legal or administrative expenses incurred in recovering the debt.
7. Special Considerations
7.1 SyncSkills may, at its discretion, consider exceptions in cases of verified serious illness, bereavement, or other extenuating circumstances.
7.2 All such exceptions must be supported by relevant documentation.
8. Amendments
8.1 SyncSkills reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time.
8.2 Updates will take effect immediately upon being posted on our official website.
